We at Chic Aesthetics are registered members of the New Zealand Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Association.
We are trained and qualified to perform this treatment safely and correctly.
We only use dentist grade equipment, which consists of our latest ultrasonic LED technology.
This is used alongside medical grade 6% hydrogen peroxide. This technology is proven to decrease processing time and limit sensitivity.

How teeth whitening works; if you imagine the clear outer glass like enamel of your tooth being a window through which we see the underlying tooth itself called the dentin. The dentin provides the natural ivory/white colour of your tooth. Cosmetic teeth whitening cleans this stained enamel window so that the natural ivory/white colour of the dentin is revealed. Caps, crowns, fillings and veneers will only lighten back to their original shade.

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic enhancement, we recommend a visit to your dentist prior to your teeth whitening appointment to check for any concerns. You must be over 16 years, not pregnant or lactating and have no dental conditions such as gum disease or open cavities. If you have had a scale and polish please wait 14 days before having your teeth whitening treatment, no less as teeth can be sensitive during this time.

WHITE DIET this is just as important as the treatment itself, we recommend 24 hours but if you can go longer even better! Your teeth are porous over this time and restraining could occur from coloured food and drinks. Eating and drinking white or clear coloured food and drinks will stop any potential rebound.

The morning of your treatment we recommend brushing your teeth with water as some toothpastes contain fillers which can effect the results of your treatment.
